Currently there are more than 300 children’s museums worldwide in 22 different countries. Hong Kong Children's Discovery Museum is a member of the Association of Children's Museums.
Children’s museums are an informal education venue for families. They are child-centered, offering developmentally-appropriate exhibits and programs that explore a variety of topics. Exhibits are interactive and hands-on, motivating play-based learning experiences that differ from those at home or at school.
